Our Founding Fathers, through the Constitution established a Republic form of government limited to the Rule of Law in order to protect the rights of the people. In seeking a return to the governing principles of Liberty established in our Constitution of 1787, people are rising in every corner of our land. Our elected officials have failed us by choosing a path of unconstitutional domination by the Federal Government. We are now, at this moment in history, presented with a path to Liberty or a path to Tyranny. The Rowan County Tea Party Patriots gather and choose the path to Liberty through our original Constitutional Republic. Which path will you choose?
The United States of America has long been a land of prosperity and liberty with sound principles such as fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited federal government, economic freedom and protection of individual rights. However, in recent years, Congress, Presidents, the Courts and the Federal Reserve Board have abandoned these principles and are practicing unrestrained government spending and expansion of the Federal government beyond the powers as granted in the United States Constitution.
We, the Rowan County Tea Party Patriots, seek to restore the policies, at all levels of government which have proven to safeguard liberty, equality, and prosperity for all. We will assemble, demonstrate and vote until this restoration of the Constitution of the United States has been achieved. We will focus on this goal and remain independent from any political party.
The Rowan County Tea Party Patriots agree with our founding Fathers that the government that governs least governs best. We stand with our forefathers as set forth in the Declaration of Independence, and “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness”.
